In contemporary China, there are more and more military drama broadcasted on TV, and the quaility of them is increasingly higer. Military themes has always been a hotpot and leading a high audience rate, which is a communication phenomenon calling for us to pay special attention to. Although in the era of entertainment orientation in communication, military themes still keep its charm as the art form of "theme". With the help of TV, the most extensive media, military theme exerting a profound impact on people's way of thinking, ethics, values, and code of conduct. TV communication is a independent subject branched from the science of communication, which has both profound theoretical origin and has extensive application value.In this paper, I set contemporary China's military drama as the research object on the theoretical basis of the content of television communication, acceptance of the results of a theoretical basis. Utilize the research method of case studies, comparative studies, and qualitative studies to analysis the development path, new characters and new problems of Contemporary China's Military TV Plays, and on the basic of which, investigate a strategy for China's military drama to survive and win in the gaming of other forms of drma.In this age of economic profit and social responsibility weigh the same, media ecology and audiences'asthetic values continueously changing, the creation of military themes and development of drama will encounter many bottleneck. On the basic of the communication theroy, this paper devoted to "deconstruction" and "construction" the military theme drama, finally, put forward constructive measures.
