A Study On The Intellect Intuition Of Mong Zongsan

Mong Zongsan is one of the most important representations in today's new-Confucianism.Intellectual intuition, namely the intuition in the intellect, is a principle of creative actualization. Mong Zongsan gets the conception from Kant's thought, and made it to be a core of his philosophy.Mong Zongsan believes that there is no the conception of the intellectual intuition in Chinese philosophy, but the Chinese philosophy has the related thought. Therefore, he illustrated the possibility of the intellectual intuition by the theory and the practice, and points out that it not only is possible in theory but also is bound to represent in practice. Furthermore, Mong Zongsan opened out the problem of the representation of the intellectual intuition by Taoism, Buddhist and Confucianism. In Taoism, if there is no the intellectual intuition, the supreme reflection of Dao-Mind is not able to create the visionary of nonbeing. Therefore, the activity of Dao-Mind'supreme reflection is the representation of the intellectual intuition; In Buddhist, there is the intellectual intuition in the Perfection of Wisdom, Kong which is that all dharmas represent in"true suchness"is the naturalness of the Perfection of Wisdom, but the"true suchness"is from of the supreme reflection of the Perfection of Wisdom, so this is the intellectual intuition. At last, we can draw a conclusion that the activity of the supreme reflection of the Perfection of Wisdom is the representation of intellectual intuition; In Confucianism, the system of Wufeng, Jishan and the system of Xiangshan, Yangming are classified as the orthodoxy of Confucianism, there is a intellectual intuition in theory of"Bring forth intuitive knowledge"of Wang Yangming and"the representation of nature depends on mind"of Liu Jishan . Therefore, the bring forth of intuitive knowledge and the representing of mind is the representing of intellectual intuition.No matter in theory and in practice, the meaning of intellectual intuition of Mong Zongsan is very important. Most important of all, the intellectual intuition make the basic ontology established. Moreover, the intellectual intuition is the base of achieving mastery of the Chinese philosophy and the western philosophy.
