In the background of modernization, globalization, information technology , modern design increasingly need to be nourished and enrich --ed by the traditional national culture, because the pursuit of the return of the traditional national culture has become a modern design's trend. Mongolian folk art colors is an integral part of folk culture in China, as the elements of folk art, both as a source of art, and the arts also to become a source of inspiration in modern art and design.Under the guidance of the modern design concepts and the spirit of traditional culture, the purposes of development and enrichment modern graphic design. in the graphic design to conduct applied researchthe Mongolian folk art colors. the culture connotation of the Mongolian folk art colors and aesthetic properties combine with modern visual communication theory and aesthetics . explores the two inter-related and design applying ways. Therefore, this article has always regarded Mongolian folk art's cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics of color as a starting point and entry point.This paper is divided into four parts: The first part is an overview of the Mongolian folk art colors. By the definition of its scope and the interpretation of traditional color concept, it outlines the nationality,symbolic,decorative and other features of Mongolian folk art colors. The second part i give discussion to various forms of artistic expression to express that covered by the national ideology, culture, aesthetic sense, in order to be drawn by graphic design The application is divided into Part III of the article, through the application of the method of analysis, investigation and summarized some exploratory insights. First of all, demonstrated the modern Mongolian folk art, graphic design color reference for the possibility and necessity; Secondly, from the allegorical nature of both symbolic and decorative aesthetic found both in terms of internal linkages and integration points, and conduct a detailed discussion and examples of proof; Finally, from a methodological point of view, extraction of color and color reconstruction methods described two kinds of applications. The fourth part is the application of thinking in order to identify lack of access to new revelation.Through Mongolian folk art colors' applied research in the graphic design, graphic design can be achieved innovative design and aesthetic design, and its cultural connotations be strengthened, vision language to be rich, thus contributing to the emergence of new design culture. Graphic Design in Inner Mongolia region to the national character, the times at the same time, in order to be better to the nationalization of international development.
