Art animation is an official name in china, which is mainly based on animation and cartoon and combines many other art expressing methods—movies, television, publishing, audiovisual reference, games and their derivative commodity—too form one kind of complex cultural art expression. The character images of Fashion business vectorcartoon, combining cartoon with fashion factors, is one expression of art animation. Fashionable female cartoon illustrations are its expressing way.With the development of art animation, character images of fashion business vectorcartoon develop from the illustration art to an independent design type. This new emerging art type has seized more attention from many artists in many countries because of its advantages of low input, high added value and green environment protection. Recently South Korea has put forward several brands of fashion business vectorcartoon, which make great achievements. Although there grows some promising artists in this field in china, there is still no influence brand for many reasons.Fashion business vectorcartoon image, as a new emerging art in china, although there are some constraints, it has a promising future. Nowadays, the development of it neglects localization and national characters. Therefore, absorbing china's traditional excellent culture will help the images getting oriental characteristics. Elements from china's traditional culture can be adopted in the design, which not only include the adoption and refining of the form, but also include the transmission of the spirit.This paper analyses foreign successful brands firstly and then summarizes the disadvantages of national fashion business vectorcartoon industry through studying the current situation of it around the world. The disadvantages include no brands, no marketing operation and no cultural characteristics.This paper also studies masterpieces of famous artists around the world to find a linking point of national modeling and cartoon design. It also studies the following aspects—transmission of china's traditional culture, stylization, novel sense, exaggeration of cartoon design, acute description and properly usage of the color—to explore a new design concept of cartoon images. Combining china's traditional cultural elements about form and color with modern design concept, this paper finally creates cartoon images with national cultural features and modern features.
