The Thought Of Sushi And Su Scholars Group On The Research Of Chuang-tzu

The loose academia in Song Dynasty was propitious to the development of research on Chuang-tzu, and the Su scholars group of which the core was Sushi made a great contribution to the research. The theory of Chuang-tzu by Sushi was very abundance. Besides writing some academic articles such as Notes on Memorial Temple of Chuang-tzu and Annotation of Guangchengzi, Sushi also clarified his theory in many literatures, which had an important influence on Su scholars group and the researchers in aftertime. Although the direct expatiations by Su scholars group on Chuang-tzu were few, some articles such as Chuang-tzu Nei Pian Lun by Huang Tingjian and Qi Wu Lun by Chao Buzhi were of great learned value. Su scholars group expressed their comprehension of Chuang-tzu's thought in many poems and easies. For example, many poems composed by Huang Tingjian were related to Chuang-tzu, while scholars like Qin Guan and Zhang Lei tends to quote Chuang-szu's thought in their political comments. Though the research of Chuang-tzu by Su scholars group lacked of systematization and system info, it represented personality characteristic of those bureaucracies who had independent ideology. Meanwhile, encountering the same experience of being degraded made Su scholars group turned their faces direct to suffer and embarrassment with the support of Chuang-tzu's thought, which reflect the spirit and the attitude to the society of the scholars under the party-battled background in Song Dynasty.This dissertation was divided into four chapters. The first chapter was introduction, introducing the research on Chuang-tzu in North Song Dynasty and the general situation of Su scholars group. The second and the third chapters were the body. The former mainly about Sushi's thought on the research of Chuang-tzu, and the latter mainly discussed the one of Huang Tingjian, Chao Buzhi, Qin Guan, Zhang Lei and Chen Shidao. The last chapter was the conclusion of the whole dissertation.
