Research On The Translator Scholars Group In The Qianlong Dynasty

As one of the ways of selecting talents in the dynasty,the imperial examination had a profound influence on ancient China.As a unique imperial examination in Qing Dynasty,the influence of translation imperial examination is not as profound as that of traditional civil and military imperial examination,but it is of great significance to the children of Baqi.The Department of translation was established in the early years of Yongzheng.It was abolished in 254 years from Qianlong and Jiaqing to Guangxu.The establishment of the translation section not only broadened the way for the Eight Banners' children to enter the government,but also selected a large number of important officials,frontier officials and translation talents for the Qing Dynasty,which had a certain impact on the politics,economy,culture,military and other aspects of the Qing Dynasty.In the Qing Dynasty,a large number of translation scholars were selected.Among them,Qianlong,Jiaqing and Daoguang had the most,99,84 and 42 respectively.It can be seen from the comparison that the translation scholars in Qianlong Dynasty had the largest scale and were more representative as the research object.Different from other periods of the Qing Dynasty,this group,as the most influential group of translation scholars in the Qing Dynasty,played a practical role that the translation scholars in other periods did not have,and made great contributions to the political and military aspects of the two dynasties.Therefore,the study of this group can not only help us to better understand the political and cultural background of Qianlong period,but also help us to have a more objective and fair understanding of this group.Although there are many articles about the translation department in Qing Dynasty,the research on the scholars in translation department is still blank.Therefore,this paper takes the translation scholars of Qianlong Dynasty as the research object and makes an in-depth discussion in order to attract people's attention to this group.
