Comprehensive Study On Measure Word "Dao" "Hang" And Its Cognitive Interpretation

Measure word is a distinguish kind in Chinese-Tibetan word system.The study on measure word has a long history before.Since the introduction of the cognition linguistics, linguisticians paid more attention on the grammaticalization of measure word. However, linguisticians are not doing the research on the origin of measure word. We believe that, from the original meaning of measure word to explore the syntax of grammaticalization process is worth doing special studies.Two measure word of this article, "dao" and "hang" is the same from the Original Meaning of the Noun "lu" evolved, and this is precisely when the synchronic plane through the examination of a total and then advance to the study which diachronic plane. Finally, the syntax of the two different process was analyzed to answer the original meaning of the Noun virtual into the same process and dynamics quantifiers. This article focuses on the source of the Noun similar to the mechanism through different virtual generalized quantifiers into the process and dynamics, as well as the related Class quantifiers were compared, and hopefully we can quantifiers into the sub-category classification basis. This paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter I is the Introduction section. Mainly introduces the topics of the purpose and significance of research synthesis, as well as measure word and the measure word "dao", "hang" and it's related research, the object of study, research theory and methods. This section will help us to have a better understanding of the study on the "dao"and "hang".Chapter II, from the synchronic plane of the measure word, "dao", "hang" to the description of analysis. The number of phrases from the form and function, from the measure word with numerals, and measure word with adjectives with perspective, overlapping of the measure word, as well as the form and grammatical meaning of the semantic features of quantifier measure word with a regard to these two to make a more detailed description and discussion, and A total of two in the Synchronic plane shown by a comparison of similarities and differences between the phenomenon and put forward the issue to be studied further.Chapter III is a research focus of this article. This chapter is mainly from the Diachronic plane of the measure word "dao" and "hang" to the vertical of the inspection, and to inquire the grammaticalization process of the two in-depth, explored ways to process syntax, virtual and influencing factors of motivation, and finally analysis of the "X+Dao+NP" and "X+Hang+NP" the amount of the two table formats formed.Chapter IV is another focus of this article, mainly from the perspective of cognitive linguistics, using the image icon analysis, semantic analysis and dimensions of the origin ratio analysis methods to explane the different virtual channels and virtual-based way of measure word "dao" and "hang".Chapter V will discuss the relationship between the measure word and the NP. First, both of them were described with the choice of the relationship between NP, followed by four areas to discuss the impact factors of the relationship between the two options with the NP. Finally, we focuses on the comparison of the individual measure word "dao" and "tiao","hang" and "lie".Chapter VI is Conclusion section, this chapter mainly discusses the results and significance of the research, as well as the quantification study of Revelation, and the main conclusions of this research.
