Study On Kyrgyz Proverbs

Kirgiz proverb is a sparkling pearl of Kirgiz folk literature, which is the art crystallization and the language quintessence reflecting Kirgiz situation of production and society and the daily life.Kirgiz proverb is the invaluable treasure and precious thought on the folk oral creation and cultural heritage.Based on the a lot collected Kirgiz proverbs,the structure of Kirgiz proverb,rhythm,rhetoric and cultural implication were studied profoundly.This paper will be divided into five parts.The first part is the preface ,including the aim,the significance,the research ,the background,the summary and the methods of research.The second part is the structure feature of Kirgiz proverbs,which are divided into simple sentece and compound sentences in form.Through the statistical analysis of the collected proverbs,we can find the majority of proverbs are compound proverbs.The third part is the rhythm of the Kirgiz proverbs,which are divided into alliteration,abdominal, end rhyme,and the alliteration and end rhyme.The feature of Kirgiz proverbs rhythm is more outstanding in double patterns ,three patterns and four patterns sentences,and each of them has at least one rhythm feature,and sometimes has two or more.The fourth part is the Kirgiz proverb rhetoric feature.The common rhetoric forms are simile ,analogy, hyperbole, metonymy, comparison, dualization and rhetorical question.The fifth part is the reflected feature of Kirgiz ethnic culture in the proverbs,including six aspects. First,some political proverbs,like praising motherland and hometown,knowing precisely whom or what to love or hate, observing disiplines and praising hero; second,about some social proverbs,like unity, friendship,ethics,hospitality, labor and language appropriate to occasion; third, about life proverbs,like family, marriage, house keeping, teaching child, dress and diet; fourth, about nature proverbs,like throttle, field and animals.
