Research On Mental Health And Relative Factors Of The Prison Police

With the development of the society and the continuous improvement of life,the mental health problems have gradually aroused the public concern.Prison police,as a special group in the society,they are the executive of the penalty.The object of their job is the offender,the place of their work is prison,which cut off from normal social.Due to the high pressure overload and the special high-risk nature of the work, the prison police mental problems are more complex than the average members of society and have become more prominent.The mental health status of the prison police not only directly affects the potential of their ability and have a direct impact on prison supervision,rehabilitation of offenders and the effect of the quality of the work,so give attention to the mental health of prison service warders is particularly important.By way of a questionnaire survey,the use of symptom self-rating scale(SCL-90),Police Stressor Scale,Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS) and simple way to deal with scale of the Women' s Prison in X Province police to carry out mental health the investigation and the use of t test,F test, correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis model of the prison police and mental health related factors were analyzed for the prison police provide the basis for psychological intervention,exploration and research to reduce the prison police Measures of psychological pressure to keep their mental health. In this paper,the basic conclusions drawn are:(1) Prison police,SCL-90 in each factor on the national norm has a very significant difference,the mental health of the general population below the national level.(2) The prison police,in the mental problems of the existence of 31.1%,the main symptoms are:compulsion, somatization,hostility,depression,interpersonal sensitivity,etc.(3) Mental health status of the prison police in different demographic variables(age,sex,working years,post-office) are different.(4) Sources of stress and mental health of the prison police is related to social support and mental health of prison police negatively correlated,the rational way to deal with the mental health status of the degree of negative correlation.
