On The Element Orders Of Coordinate Structures In Contemporary Chinese

This paper illustrates nine principles of element orders of coordinate structures in contemporary Chinese. In this paper, the author figures out some factors control the normal element orders of coordinate structures. These factors are discussed from three respects: language itself, cognition and context. These factors are not equal, but a rank among them. Then the author points out that rhetoric is used in abnormal element orders of coordinate structures. Finally the paper analyzes the similarities and differences of element orders of coordinate structures between Chinese and English. This would be helpful for people to study coordinate structures better.
