| By the forms of questionnaire and interview, the attention theory is inducted to the Chinese-teaching class for oversea students, in order to educe a series of concrete suggestions and methods which are conductive to this kind of class, making students concentrate in learning content most effectively.Attention is the beginning of each psychological activity, which is an important sector that everything outside goes into our brain and heart should come through. In class, in order to make students grasp knowledge, it is necessary to attract students' attention, and only that kind of information can be further processed and become long-term in stead of short-term memory. According to researches, students pay more attention in class, they learn better. Therefore, the teacher should help students concentrate in learning content, instead of distracting their attention. Because of the particularity possessed by some factors of the Chinese-teaching class like learners, learning content, etc., how to attract students' attention has great influence on the learning efficiency of them in a Chinese-teaching class. If the teaching content is too dull or the teaching forms are too monotonous, students will lose interest soon.In China, there have been lots of researching achievements in psychological and educational field, but as to Chinese-teaching field, there are still a few, which only focus on selective learning strategy. The new ideas of this thesis just lie in applying the attention theory to Chinese-teaching class in a comparatively all-round-way, then verifying by the form of questionnaire, and finally reaching practical methods. This thesis is consisted of seven chapters. The Introduction and Chapter One review the current researching situation. Chapter Two briefly introduce the attention theory. Chapter Three investigates the application of attention theory in class by the forms of questionnaire and interview, then verifying the efficiency of these forms through questionnaire. Chapter Four compares and discusses the experimental results of last chapter. Chapter Five analyzes the experimental results with the attention theory. Chapter Six puts forward effective suggestions and comparatively practical methods on the basis of the investigatory results and theoretical analysis and then summarizes the practical significance of the experiment. Chapter Seven sums up the new ideas of the thesis and also the deficiencies that are still exist in this thesis. |
