Diachronic Study On The Kind Of Adverbs "Sui Ji"(随即) In Chinese Language

The adverb "suiji"(随即)is the time adverb,which expresses the interval is brief between two things or two actions.Besides "suiji"(随即),there are "ji"(既), "jier"(既而),"xuanji"(旋即),etc.in Chinese language,which are called the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即)in this article.Although some works have studied them,they are scattered and plane,so this article studied those adverbs as a special topic.By describing the origination and evolution of the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即)respectively,this article has investigated into the usages of them from the point of view of the history of Chinese language in an all-aroundway,and probed into the generative mechanism of them and explained why they have evolved in such a way.The full text includes four parts as follows:The first part explains the studied purpose,documents,methord and criteria of the "suiji"(随即)adverb.The second part expounds the origination and evolution of the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即).The part detailedly describes the usages of them of the history of Chinese language.Points out the changes of the vocabulary based on counting their frequency of utilization and analyzing their relationship of collocation and congregation through appearance of newborn words and the disappearance of old words.The third part discusses the main generative mechanism of the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即).Appling the general linguistics theory,it indicates that the tone words of the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即),are grammaticalized as adverb position,while diplophon words develop in the way of synonymy,agglupination.The fourth part studies the evolution cause of the kind ofadverbs "suiji"(随即).The reasons for the form changes are that the different meanings of one word are simplised and the sameshapes vanish by themselves.The principle of novelizing,retrenehion and disyllablization lead to the evolution of vocabulary system of the kind of adverbs "suiji"(随即).
