Under the global condition, culture capital has more and more influence on politics,economy,culture and individuals, as a key to cognize society and reconstruct society, itis increasingly attached importance to.The article combines dynamic analysis with static analysis to analyze culture capitalfrom the view of historical materialism. It believes that culture capital is the summation ofhuman being's mental product and thoughts,capability which created by human being'sbrain and existed in human being's brain. Culture capital is based on practice and it isnational,worldwide,significance of time. The culture capital which was acquired athome or at school is only a symbolistic capital, it need social affirmance, that is to say, theculture capital which exists in human being's brain needs to become a diploma; culturecapital which gained affirmance can exchange with economic capital and society capitalunder certain condition, the three forms of culture capital can exchange with eachother, too. The accumulation of culture capital is based on its exchange and needs someconditions, without these conditions, accumulation of culture becomes water withoutsource. Culture capital has two ways to accumulate: education and power, these two waysinfluence the speed of accumulation in different extent.Culture capital has different functions in different fields and accelerate human being'scomplete development from different point of view, however human being's completedevelopment accelerate the richness and advance of culture capital, too.
