The thesis discusses and analyzes Micro Teaching in thegiven situation where the internship and training of highernormal education faces the embarrassing dilemma. Moreover,based on the researches of other subjects and combined with thecharacters of music courses as well as the principles of musicinstruction, the study of Micro Teaching application in musiceducation is conducted in the practical perspective. As aresult of the study, the thesis supplies the identification ofthe solutions of how to make the internship and training ofhigher normal education more scientific, and of how to causethe future quality of teachers both in the primary and secondaryschools to adopt to the development of education, and to satisfythe needs of the new century.The paper includes preface, body and ending. By introducingthe current status of music education internship, preface comesup with the incentive of the study. The body is composed of threechapters: Chapter 1 summarizes Micro Teaching's emergence,development, the foundation of theories, and the researches inother countries. By utilizing survey study and mathematicalstatistics methods, Chapter 2 introduces the result of surveystudy in 5 Hunan normal universities, conducts the dataanalysis of the survey, discovers the problems of internshipand training of higher normal education, and finally proves thenecessity and significance of the study. Base on the dilemmathat music-education internship and training face in highernormal universities, Chapter 3 conducts the initialinvestigation by inputting micro teaching into the detailed and applied process of the music-education internship. Furthermore,the evaluation table of music micro teaching is launched inorder to improve the evaluation mechanism of music educationinternship. In the end, founded on result of the study, thethesis makes recommendations for music micro teaching in thefuture.The research of the paper enhances the introduction anddevelopment of Micro Teaching theories; fosters and improvesthe practical ability of students in normal universities; also,the research is of theoretical and practical significance tothe innovation of higher normal universities' educationalinternship, even the innovation of the whole system of musiceducation.
