The Study About Yisheng In ShuoWenJieZiZhu

ShuoWenJieZi(shortened as ShuoWen in the following part) is the kind of book, which fully uses the theory of LiuShu to explain characters. In the explanation, XuShen introduced YiSheng, afterwards, which has received consistent enrichment and development. ShuoWenJieZiZhu(shortened as DuanZhu) is regarded as the authoritive book for elucidating and studying ShuoWen.DuanZhu expounded ShuoWen in many perspects, revised and supplemented many YiSheng characters.This article traces the histroy of this problem, analyes its current situation; collects about 600 YiSheng characters which DuanZhu supplemented and revised, explains the way which DuanZhu YiSheng was formulated, summurizes the theories of DuanZhu YiSheng; sets forth the critiera for judging YiSheng and the range of YiSheng, expounds its types and its approaches of development, makes clear the similarities ang differences between YiSheng ang XingSheng ZhuanZhu, elucidates its relationships with"YouWenShuo"and cognatives, estimates the achievements and losses of DuanZhu YiSheng objectively; using the achievments of philology, we trace back to the development of YiSheng Characters in different periods, inspects its syschronic consanguinty, for the distinguish of DuanZhu YiSheng.Through the study of DuanZhu YiSheng, we conclude: (1) the formulation of DuanZhu YiSheng is very rich, and its theory is profound. (2) YiSheng character is an objective structure type in the system of Chinese character, which has many differences with XingSheng character. (3) YiSheng character is the kind of mesomerism in character—constructing. (4) YiSheng character has two types(one is HuiYi type, the other is XingSheng type.) (5) The relationshps between YiSheng character and shengfu which are very complex, are not all congnate. (6) The existence of YiSheng character is the theoretic base for"YouWenShuo", the research on YiSheng will help the congative—connecting, will help the study of philology, the teaching of Chinese character.
