Poems and lyrics were given birth to the same family. Chinese poems also has the tradition of being combined to music, and lyrics, as one kind of musical literature, have the beauty of both poems and music. The earliest collection of poems in Chineseliterature history-《Book of Odes》, the poems in Han and Wei dynasty, the poemsin Tang lyrics in Song lyrics in Yuan dynasty, and the aria in Ming and Qing dynasty, can be called popular song in Chinese literature and art history. Poems and lyrics were parted for some time and combined for some time, brought about a long developing history of Chinese poems.
