In the Northern Song Dynasty, Wenyanbo is important for the medium-termpolitical ,he began to manage royal government in Songrenzong Dynasty . He witnessed aseries of events the Northern Song Dynasty medium : Song Xia war,Qingli New policy ,Wangze Rebellion , Xining Reform, Yuanyougenghua Shaoshengshaoshu. Yanbo'character isbroad-minded and meek .He is a capable Minister and make the effort to put his own politicalideal and political views into practice.In his long-term official career, he was active on thepolitical affairs in the Northern Song Dynasty. Wenyanbo became a Jinsheng in the fifth year of Songrenzong Tiansheng period. Fromthen on he began his offical career . Wenyanbo held successively a post in Yuci Yicheng twocounties. Afterwards, Yanzhou to Hedonglu zhuanyunshi,Zhizhou in Weizhou , Qinzhou,Yizhou,.In his official period for the regulated area of economic, cultural, military affairswere able to accomplish something. Song Xia war, the fighting in the front, Yanbo, he usedactive defense ways to enhance the combat effectiveness of the armed forces to safeguard theinterests of the Song government in the border areas. Qingli seven years (1047) in March,Yanbo entered the power core of Northern Song Dynasty, he took office as vice-ministerand prime minister . Today his talent outlook still is of particular importance.This present papers analys the times and society in which WenYanbo lived ,give a briefintroduction to his life story ,official career ,critical thinking and many other aspects.On thebasis of abundant materials, I try to make an objective evaluation to the performance ofWenyanbo in some important historical events .
