Study On The Relations Between Primary School Pupils Attachment And Bullying

Attachment always is an important subject in social development pyschology,because it will affect greatly the development of children.With the development of meaning of attchment,the domain of study in attachment get more and more wider. The people begins to notice the attachment of school children, adolescents even adults instead of infants.At the same time,bullying is a serious problem to primary schools and middle schools,and the impacts on children of bullying have got the notice of many people. The study of before included that attachment will affect the bullying of children. This study aims to examine the development of attachment security to mother and to and father,and examin the association between attachment security and children's bullying.Therefore,this research have high theoretical value and practical significance.We carry out the paper about attachment and about bullying in the students of grade 4, 5, and 6 in four primary school.The paticipants added up to 520. Results showed that the attachment security of children in grade 6 decreased significantly. Child-mother attachment security of boys decreasead significantly, and child-father attachment security of girls decreased significantly.Attchment security to mother and to father is different.Attachment security to mother is higher than the attachment security to father.The children's attachment security has impact on bullying and victimization.As for as the two aspects of attachment ,mother availability were the better predictor of lower victimization,and dependency on mother predicted better lower bullying.With regard to the joint effects of child-mother and child-father attachment ,it was found that children with two secure attachment behave the lest bullying and victimization.Children from divored family had more bullying and lower child-father attchment security.Based on analysis ,the thesis made an exploratory thought on the...
