The Study On Zhang Peilun's Thought

In this thesis, there is a comprehensive research about Zhang Peilun's thought. It consistsof five parts. The first part discusses Zhang Peilun's life and his thought developmenttendency, also clarifies the process of his turning from the Clear Stream Party to theWesternization Party; the second part is unfolded surrounding his thought of the Clear Streamand state affair management; the third part inquires into his westernization thought; the fourthpart clarifies his patriotic thought concerning the foreign aggressiveness; the fifth part probesin his academic thought. The above–mentioned thoughts are evaluated briefly. The authorthinks Zhang Peilun also experienced the conversion from the Clear Stream Party to theWesternization Party, and gradually became one of Westernization Mandarin officials. Hisconversion was of progressive significance and followed the trend of historic development.We investigate the content and changing process of his thought, which can not only make upthe shortage the research on Zhang Peilun, but also contribute to systematic research on theClear Stream Party.
