The brightest children selection is a part of the ancient imperial exam system, after tang dynasty established the section, the children's development and selection are extensively paied attention to. At Tang-Song period, this category selects a many outstanding children, not only foring the country housing developping selecting a group of talented persons,but also promoting the whole society received the educational value to the children.Because Tang-Song period is the period of children selection appearance, developing and maturity, so we study the children selection at that time, contribute to us the more understanding to our country medieval times education of the children and Tang-Song imperial examination circumstance.Although the acceptance number is not much, the meaning of the children selection is important.It makes the imperial examination cover the person of almost all ages segment.This text consists of five chapters.The article corpus is the second and third chapters.The first chapter is a general outline, mainly having three aspects.
