Studying on Female Qu Writers in the Ming Dynasty is an unacquainted and valuable theme.The author conducted a thorough study of Female Qu Writers in the Ming Dynasty in terms of life and work, content, subject matter, artistic feature and so on. At the same time, the author discussed some issues about Female Qu Writer in the Ming Dynasty. In order to achieve this goal, the author has done the following work with efforts and advances are as follows.In the first place, extensive and thorough case studies are conducted, and the scope of study of Female Qu Writers in the Ming Dynasty is broadened. Previous comments only pay attention to Huang e, and rarely discourse the other Female Qu Writers. The author base on a comprehensive collection of the non-dramatic songs in the Ming dynasty, searched widely for Female Qu. At present, there are 30 Female Qu Writes listing in this dissertation.In the second place, the author firstly sums up and estimates the subject matter and artistic feather of Female Qu in the Ming Dynasty.Female Qu Writers not only produced Qu of representing missing and scenery , but also developed and enriched contents of Qu , just as writing cherishing affection, self-admiration, chiding husband for turning his coat, pitying prostitute, labor scene of katydid, scenery of borderland, withdrew from society , live in solitude , seeking immortality and etc.The author classed Female Qu Writers in the Ming Dynasty into "Ben-se genre" and "Lei-ci genre" . In addition to, summed up artistic features about them respectively.In the third place, the author discussed two issues about Female Qu Writer in the Ming Dynasty.What are the reasons for the forming of female qu writer group in the late Ming Dynasty. The reasons are the following: first, ladies form respectable families were generally well-educated and could take part in many social activities freely; second, they lived in the strong qu-writing circumstances, they were influenced by their family members; third, the change of play writing topic and content attracted them.Why no silver age of female san-qu history? Qu is not optimal types of literature for female, which is the essential reason.
