In the middle of the Ming Dynasty,with the rapid development and prosperity of business and the growth of the urban citizen class,a large number of world-famous novels depicting worldly love and humanity came into being.As a group among them,women are also the most concentrated and vividly portrayed by novels.Among them,the outstanding representatives of Ming Dynasty's world-famous novels,"Sanyan and Erpai"and "Jin Ping Mei"recorded a lot of content related to women.This thesis takes the female characters in"Sanyan and Erpai"and"Jin Ping Mei"as the research object,taking the marriage concept and social activities of women from all walks of life as the research perspective,and from the perspective of social history,the female social status and society in the middle and late Ming Dynasty The style is discussed and analyzed."Sanyan and Erpai,and"Jin Ping Mei"as the classics of the Ming Dynasty depicting the secular novels of the world,depicting a large number of female characters,these female characters can be divided into upper-level women and middle-lower ordinary women according to the class.This article first introduced the difference and performance of the upper-level women and the middle-lower ordinary women in terms of marriage,this difference is inseparable from their own economic situation,family education and the changes in the social atmosphere of the Ming Dynasty.In addition,women in the novel also have independent professional activities,as well as more recreational activities and participation in various religious activities.Through the extensive participation of these women in social activities,it reflects the improvement of women's status in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,which gives us a new understanding of the status of women in the Ming Dynasty.This article intends to use the novel to deeply explore the social features of the middle and late Ming Dynasty.Through the changes in political,economic and ideological concepts in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,it can be found that the middle and late Mimg Dynasty is a period of contradiction:on the one hand,there is a new concept of women who respects women and praises women,and sets off a trend of sympathy for women;On the other hand,the number of martyrdom women is exploding,and people's praise for the martyrdom is endless.In general,the"duality"of this view of women still reflects the improvement of the status of women in the Ming Dynasty compared with the previous generation,and the role of women has become more prominent.
