At first, discusses editor, compiling goal and time, edition of Yu tai xin yong. Think editor of Yu tai xin yong is Xu Ling, its compiling goal is "Yi Da Qi Ti" and "Yi Bei Feng Lan". At the same time, infers compiling time is from Liang Dynasty to Chen Dynasty. Secondly, discusses Xu Ling's literary and artistic thought.
