Under the influence of Japanese New-sensationalism, some representatives of Chinese writers, such as NaOu Liu, ZheCun Shi and ShiYing Mu etc, had also composed a new sensationalism chapter in the late 1920's. They realized the beauty of cities for the first time, moreover, left a deep impression in Chinese new literature history, based on their concentrations of individual's living status and emotion in modern times, while the bold innovation in forms and skills of novel expression. Since the New Period, the academe has had a deep case study on New-sensationalism writer's works, which are under cold reception due to themselves and some social matters, furthermore, described and hold them in terms of a whole. But through deep study, it is not so hard to find that there are still some weaknesses in New-sensationalism study. For example, as far as the causes of formation is concerned, there are only casual mentioning or one-sided reason and lack of whole explanations. Although the process of declining has been discussed, the reasons why New-sensationalism died young have rarely studied. This article is based on some past researches, by analyzing some non-social factors, such as writer's personalities, economical and social literatures in special period which New-sensationalism depends on, etc, finally finds out the internal and external reasons why New-sensationalism formed and died out.Part one: the registrar of Cocktail Age: the causes of New-sensationalism's formation ShangHai played a strange role in modern China. The inbreak of Western countries objectively made this modern city grow up. This dramatic grow-up had stimulated consciousness and literature to be rebuilt in order to adapt and express modern experiences. The brand-new modern city sights gave New-sensationalism writers new feelings and experiences, then made them unlimitedly extend their sensoriums, tried to catch the city's sound, light and color, additionally strived to project subjective feelings to objective visualizations, described city's sense life, and finally turned out a holographic view of ShangHai city which was made by intelligence. Hence, under the gestation of modern city literature, real New-sensationalism novels had appeared which were able to grasp city pulse with modern thoughts, represent city's turbulences and changes, search citizen's living conditions.In 1930's, Chinese literature grew up under a circumstance of day-by-day furious class and national contradiction which were caused by the butcher of Kuomintang and the crazy invasion of Japanese imperialism. The reason why New-sensationalism appeared in ShangHai during 1930's was related to the political situation of the time. Because of the failure of the Great Revolution and the influence of international Provan Literature, some writers had historical introspection of China's ideology and culture after grief and indignation. Therefore, Provan literature was introduced, and rapidly raised an irresistible "era torrent" in Chinese literary world. New-sensationalism writers had joined the trends of times because of their articles and publish activities. However, no matter ZheCun shi, ShiYing Mu and NaOu Liu, owing to their origins, education since childhood and life accumulating, they not only could not join in the furious revolutionary struggle, but also go adrift or simulate in Provan Literature creation, so they dropped out after writing several novels which are needed at once. On the other hand, at that time, some revolutionary literature writers had impractical fanatic fancies to the revolution, they excited masses' revolutionary passion, used living materials to picture political concept, in order to propagate revolutionary ideas, their creations then fell into a strange cycle which was revolutionary romanticism and formulized.
