1927-1937, the Shanghai people were also pursuing modern, sophisticated daily life while they enjoyed the modern life. Aesthetics continuously moved toward life, and life unceasing moved toward art. During that period, Shanghai had a special aesthetic schema rather than other cities'. In this paper, the research is started from the fields of daily life, socio-economic as well as aesthetics, based on the facts of how the Shanghai people lived, wore and entertained themselves in that period, explores the daily life aesthetic schema in Shanghai 1927-1937, explores the necessity, the value and the shortcoming of this aesthetic schema, then find the self-Reflection we should take. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part explains both the relationship between daily life and aesthetics, and the reason why we choose this particular time, place to be the research object; The second part starts from the fundamentals of Shanghai life to explore the aesthetic features of the buildings and the costumes in that period; The third part of this paper attempts to study the relationship between the Shanghai people's daily entertainments and esthetics, the film will be the entry point; The fourth part is the specific analysis of novels of neo sensationalism, novels of neo sensationalism had built a literature simulacrum of the Shanghai city, so they had a important reference value. The fifth part is based on the foregoing discussion, sums up and builds a 1927-1937 daily life aesthetic schema, and analyzes its characteristics.
