Chinese Neo-sensationalism was deeply influenced by and inherited from Japan Neosensulism. Concerning the theme and central idea, both Chinese Neo-sensational literature and Japanese Neo-sensational literature presented strong anti-tradition and anti-society tendency, they explored innovated art forms and representation methods, even violated the basic literatures laws in order to pursue the style of"Pioneer", therefore led to the art style that are typically creative and unorthodox in language. The two schools were originated from different societies and literature tradition, however, Chinese Neo-sensationalism was inevitably divergent from Japanese Neo-sensationalism. Therefore, this paper aims at exploring the differences between Chinese Neo-sensationalism and Japanese Neo-sensationalism in creation and the origination. Both Chinese and Japanese Neo-sensationalists strengthened the importance of displaying things through individual feelings. Chinese Neo-sensationalists, however, tended to input personal viewpoints to induce the scenes, while Japanese Neo-sensationalists did not show their personal viewpoints directly and readers should comprehend them amid the combinations of pictures.Chinese Neo-sensationalists displayed their visual sense plainly, with few complications. In comparison, Japanese Neo-sensationalists focused on objective images and poured their heart and soul in it.In order for the readers to appreciate their neo-sense more deeply, it is necessary for the authors to make effort to authors improve expression skills. Both Chinese Neo-sensationalists and Japanese Neo-sensationalists skillfully employed Metaphor, Metonymy, and Personification to make their description vividly. But Chinese Neo-sensationalists excelled at the skill of Synaethesia; they combined such senses as visual, hearing, smelling and touching. Furthermore, Repetition was uniquely employed in their works. Imagination and comparison as rhetorical devices, in comparison, function more in Japanese Neo-sensationalism novels. There are three origins to explain the differences between Chinese Neo-sensationalism and Japanese Neo-sensationalism: the first one is the differences between social and cultural background, with Chinese Neo-sensationalism and Japanese Neo-sensationalism novels being called"Yangchang Literature"and"Earthquake Literature"respectively; the second one lies in the fact that Liu Na'ou"misunderstood"Japanese Neo-sensationalism novels and Proletarian novels; translated and edited Japanese Neo-sensationalism novel collection Erotic Culture, which led to the birth of Chinese Neo-sensationalism with metropolis lives as subject matter; and the last one is the influence coming from different personalities and aesthetical preferences of authors.Through theoretical explosions and comparison of specific texts, this paper intends to deny the traditional viewpoints that Chinese Neo-sensationalism has completely imitated Japanese Neo-sensationalism, and affirms the special artistic value of Chinese Neo-sensationalism. Although not with clear definite literary theoretical support as the Japanese Neo-sensationalism does, Chinese Neo-sensationalism, with its unique advantages in unique and fresh writing skills and artistic flavor, has outstripped the Japanese counterpart in many respects.
