As one of the cultural phenomenon, absolutism once wildly spread in the world, and it was longitudinal in the Chinese ancient societies, In the modern society, dictatorial system was replaced by the republicanism, but it often appears in various forms. Moreover, the negative influences of the absolutism have not vanished. We often encounter patriarchy and bureaucracy. Unlike some scholars who insist of the classic evolutionism, the author doesn't think that the absolutism, as a historical period, has disappeared completely. The study about the absolutism should be emphasized, in case it rises again form the ashes. It has been lasting one hundred years to study the absolutism. Especially in 1980s, the scholars initiated a new movement to promote the study. Although these studies are fruitful, they follow the same pattern, and fail to touch the core of the absolutism. Some scholars even distort the facts of history to meet a preceding conclusion for the political necessity, which is harmful to the scientificity of the historical study. Having realized the limitations of these studies, scholars come to take priority over the specialty of Chinese culture. The representative sample of these studies is chiefdom theory. However, they use indiscriminately the ready-made theory with concrete historical facts frommetaphysical approach, which leads to the faults of the study. We must consider the role of the perceptions of state under the conditions of the formation of the early state in China, in order to find out the true reason that causes to the formation of the absolutism. These ideas like some genes control the historical direction of the Chinese system of government. The thesis consists of four chapters:1 , Introduction The author summarizes the study and the harmfulness of the Chinese absolutism and points out his own study way research.2, The author mainly explains the use of some perceptions which were based on the first step by which the state was born. The chiefs of the prehistoric tribes often gave charity to get the support of the common people. In order to gain the leadership, they were all the models that served the people. as the times went on, the special political system-model political system came into existence. Under the model political system, the people. Were easy to develop the personality cult of the chief and therefore unable to control the power of the chief. The leader made use of all favorable factors to usurp the power and the people were the capital from which the leader got more power. In fact, the people couldn't control the power of the leader. The Chinese perception that the common people were thought to be more important than the ruler isn't democratic. During the charity, equalitarianism is the best principle. Because this idea was inherited and transformed by the leader, no social force could grow up and control the government power.3, The author explains other ideas which formed on the second step that the state was born. Chief Qi, the first king of the Xia Dynasty took the public power by force basing on the power of the family and founded a state consulting the family. So the family principles were changed into the stateprinciples. Because the family was controlled by the head of the family, all the powers of the state were controlled by the king, the legislative initiative was controlled by the king, and the supervision system could only supervise princes, the dukes and high ministers, for setting up the supervision system's purpose is to help the king maintain his rule. It is the principle of the patriarchal family that in a house there can not be two masters .The political power could not be controlled by two rulers, so the king owned all the power himself and the bureaucratic apparatus was founded on the same principle This principle produced another result: unification of the whole country. This idea promoted the absolutism. Now, not only the emperor felt his strong rule, but the people could not choose but serve the emperor in a unitary country a...
