The Research About Ten Biographer's Works During The Early Period Of Qing Dynasty

There are no enough attentions on the biography in the earIy period of Qing dynasty inthe academic circle and therefore no enough emphasis on the achievements of it that shouIdbe worth emphasizing. The article chooses and analyzes the biographies of ten writers in theearly period of Qing dynasty including Qianyi Qian; Fangyu Hou; Xi wei; Wan Wang; YizunZhu; Chenying Jiang; Changheng Shao; Mingshi Dai and Bao Fang .with a view to their lives,'psychological state, and social backgrounds of the ten writers, the article comes to threeconclusions on the basis of analysis of the works and the theories of their biographies. Thenrst is that the national consciousness renected in the biographies intends to increasinglydisappear; the second is that the style of writing transmits from the virile to the simple andelegant; the third is that the emphasis of the works has experienced a change: content isemphasised in the early time and the fOrm later. The change is consistent with thetransfOrmation of poem style as well as the ci, which clearly shows the development of futureprose writing.
