A Study Of Biographies During The Period Of Qianlong And Jiaqing In Ching Dynasty

The period of Qianlong and Jiaqing,a turning point of Ching dynasty, saw the highlight of later period of Chinese federal society. And accordingly, the literature during this period has been charactered with vivid features of the age. The thesis chooses and analyzes the biographies of eight writers during this period, including Liu Dakui, Yao Nai, Yuan Mei, Li Diaoyuan, Quan Zuwang, Zhang Xuecheng, Ruan Yuan and Hong Liangji. With a view to their literature opinions, academic achievements, the thesis is divided into four parts to study and show their academic opinions, theoretical achievements, and literature styles, concerning with their personalities, status, and experience, with different emphasis.
