A Measure-regulating Study Of The Reduplication In Tang And Wudai Dynasty

Tang and Wudai dynasty is one of the important periods in Chinese language history. As an important grammar means,reduplication has also begun to become a conscious behaviour of the people in this period. But although these studies of reduplication have a long history A all of them do not break through the limit of rhetoric. This thesis tries to reinvestigate the reduplication of this period with the tool of measure-changed. I hope to have a completely new knowledge about reduplication so that I can provide a little new inspire for the study of language.This thesis is divided into seven parts. But in fact it has three parts from bigger hand. The first part is foreword. It mainly introduces the definition,character and form. It also extends an important concept of the analysisXX measure. And it also introduces the history and study of reduplication,the idea,means,and bases of selecting materials. The last part is conclusion. It statistically sums up the reduplication of Tang and Wudai dynasty,so that it can descripe the appearance of reduplication in this period. It also specially argues some perticuliar reduplicational words and structures.
