It is generally accepted that most of Su Shi's influenial works were produced in his exil in Huangzhou. In this dissertation, from the perspectives of Su's psychological and emtional world, the author is trying to explore Su's philosophy, literature style, and the reasons contributing to the formation of his literature career pinnacle in Huangzhou.This dissertation consists of four parts:Part One explores Su's psychological and emotional world, which was a transition from depression to harmony.Part Two discusses Su's philosophy in his exil in Huanzhou, illustrating Su's probing process of his own philosophy.Part Three analyzes Su's literature style. It is argured in this part that convinced a simpler life style was a happier life style, Su achieved his harmony with nature and fonned his most leading style during his Huanzhou time.Part four focuses on discussing the reasons contributing to the formation of Su's literature careee pinnacle in Huangzhou.
