Overseas students from Central Asia is the most of Overseas students in XinJiang, the quality of teaching them Chinese can affect the development of Chinese popularizing career. In study of Chinese, their ability in writing Chinese characters always improves slowly than it in listening and speaking Chinese, just because the affection of their phoneticize character background ,and the lack of teaching Chinese characters systematicly in courses arrangement. Chinese character changed into the bottleneck of Chinese study. Their Chinese character errors appear usually and differently .The essay analyze the pattern and distribution of the errors in primary level and intermediate level by counting quantity and analyzing quality. By comparing the errors of two levels, find out the generality and developing trend.By comparing and analyzing the errors of two levels ,the developing trend of the character errors along with level upgrading is revealed in the essay: the wrongly written characters reduce, the mispronounced characters increase; the influence from syllable add up; the errors in stroke reduce obviously, the errors in component increase slightly; errors with stroke out of shape or with stroke wrongly composed reduce, errors owing to adding or reducing stroke increase slightly; errors with component wrongly composed reduce, errors owing to replacing or adding or reducing component increase. By analyzing the distribution of errors in primary level and intermediate level, get the generality between errors in primary level and intermediate level: the wrongly written characters are far more than the mispronounced characters, the mispronounced characters owing to similar shape are more to similar pronunciation, similar shape affect more than similar pronunciation; stroke errors are far more than component errors, errors owing to adding or reducing stroke appear most frequently in stroke errors, and then errors with stroke wrongly composed or with stroke out of shape ; the errors owing to replacing component appear most frequently of all errore, the component expressing meaning is replaced or added or reduced most frequently.Based on the research, pertinent teaching tips has been put forward: not only attach importance to teaching character shape, but also teaching the meaning and pronunciation in specific words or phrases, teach students distinguish the characters in similar shape from primary level; increase instruction on characters in the same pronunciation, teach component like tone symbol and idea symbol, foster the students form Chinese character sense, instruct students to use component in order to divide and remember characters rationally and efficiently; teach the primary level students stroke systematicly from four aspects: stroke shape, stroke order, stroke quantity, stroke constitution; arrange enough classes and exercises to master stroke knowledge; teach the meaning of idea symbol from the primary level, gather the characters containing the same idea symbol to teach them together; in the intermediate level, it is important to distinguish the characters in similar shape in the aspect of meaning and shape; beginning from the primary level, teach students how the component layout and convey, also the tuopu nature of Chinese characters and Chinese orthographic awareness.
