The Shaolin Wushu, formed under the specific Buddhism cultural context, is a Buddhism culture system. It takes the martial arts as the manifestation, fully manifests the Buddhism Zen wisdom and the Wushu principle. This is the characteristic that the Shaolin martial arts can be distinguished from the general Wushu types.Therefore, the Songshan Shaolin Wushu culture is the cultural type of integration of Zen and Wushu. It contains two aspects, one is the Zen culture, and the other is the Wushu culture. These two parts are not the oppositions, but close. As the external form, the Shaolin Wushu, is a method of understanding the wisdom of Zen basically. For the intrinsic support of Zen, the Shaolin Wushu lives prosperity for long. Wushu is the form, Zen is the root. Under the conduction of Buddhism leniency and providing relief, the practice sits in meditation through the Shaolin Wushu, refrains from killing lives, and achieves the purpose of understanding the mind and seeing the disposition.In the recent years, the Songshan Shaolin temple has carried on a series of business activities to communicate the Zen and Wushu culture. Especially, the commercial communication based on the mess media has caused a huge controversy.In the terms of the communication content, the commercial communication of Songshan Shaolin Zen and Wushu culture mainly includes the following parts: establishing movie company to communicate Wushu culture; Arranging performance play to communicate Zen and Wushu culture; opening the Eshop on the Internet and reorganizing and publishing the Shaolin Wushu books and so on. For the communication effect, firstly, the commercial communication brings the obvious income, not only solving the Shaolin Temple's survival problem, and building a good foundation for its following development. Secondly, the commercial communication expandes the popularity of Shaolin Zen and Wushu culture, and Songshan Shaolin Temple is well known home and abroad. But simultaneously, Shaolin's commercial communication has not held the culture connotation of the Zen and Wushu. It only passed the Wushu culture but neglected the Zen culture, destroyed the typical characteristic of the Zen and Wushu culture. And the commercial activities destroyed the sacred destruction of religious, causes Buddhism's pure to lose. The Songshan Shaolin Temple should be aware of this pan-commercialization trend.The dispute turns over to the dispute. The Shaolin Temple has its helpless and historical traditional that it goes the secular world and does business activities so positively. Firstly, the Shaolin Temple must protect its own intangible asset,"it is not we cannot do that, but with the push from commercial society and the special interest group, we can not obtain the policy and legal support. This is intertwines."Therefore, the temple goes along with the historical tide rather than passive commercialized. This is a helpless. At the same time, Shaolin Temple's commercial communication has a very big relation with its historic tradition. In the history, Shaolin Temple has a rich experience in going into the secular world. Particularly, getting connected with the ruling class in politics let Buddhism's development obtain a quite loose social space. The temple's long-standing economic activity has gained economical support for its development. Looking from these aspects, it will be easier to understand Shaolin's commercial communication.Facing the dispute of being into and out of the secular world, the Shaolin Temple should have a good attitude and do good things to realize the salvation of Buddhism finally."The commercial method is only reluctant choice for the Shaolin Temple when it lacks enough channels to communicate the Zen and Wushu culture currently, but it is not ultimate pursue".To avoid so many disputes, Songshan Shaolin's commercial activities should focus on communicating Zan and Wushu cuture saving the living things. At the same time, the media, the public and the society should give more tolerance and the understanding for Shaolin's behaviors. In the policy and the law, the government needs to establish the effective protection system for the traditional culture, fundamentally solving the difficult position which the traditional culture inheritance faces.
