Basic Research On The Literature Of Ancient Chinese Architect

The search of ancient architectural history in China need technique and document to complement. But after liberation, the research center of ancient architectural history had a lasting diversion, and ignored the confirmation of document, so this make the search of architecture insufficiently. Because we lost architectural culture which was deposited for about thousand years. It is a pity that until now there is not any normal organizations which sort out architectural documents except the Chinese constructal consortium. Their accomplishment was not surpassed in sorting out architectural documents.This paper tries to hackle the architectural documents which are variety in the ancient books, and consider the archive and book to be the part of document and research it. The object of this research includes the content, carrier, physical make-up and management, in order to research more systemically and roundly and excavate the architectural information in books and archives, to find the print of ancient architecture from the vast architectural documents of China, to hackle the architectural documents and accede value of the ancient architecture in China, to lay the foundation of the ancient architectural history in China, to supply historical information for protecting the ancient architecture, to meet the need of architectural and department to using the architectural documents.The first part hackles the venation of ancient architectural document. It is divded into three stages, the stage of conserving dispersedly, the stage of specialization and the stage of maturation. The key point is stage of maturation.The second part divides the ancient architectural document into several parts according to different standards, in order to comprehend the ancient architectural document from different aspects and angles. The standards include carrier, style and physical make-up.The third part discusses the collection, management and using. The collection of architectural document disscusses the ways of collections from many aspests. The management of it dissertates different stages. The using of it is disscussed from ancient and modern aspects.
