Application Of Shu Bi Irrigation Solution On FESS For Chronic Sinusitis

Objection To observe the therapeutic effect of Shu Bi irrigation solution and the expression of CD4 and CD8 positive T cell after functional endoscopic sinus surgery(FESS) for chronic sinusitis(CS) and nasal polyps. Method All the sixty CS II and CS III cases were randomly classed into two groups: the test group and controlled group, every group contained 30 patients. The patients of the test group were treated with Shu Bi irrigation solution to irrigate the operated sinus cavity, once a day.The controlled group were treated with 0.9% N.S . We followed up all the patients for 12 weeks and recorded the changes of symptoms and signs of patients. The expression of CD4 and CD8 positive T cell were studied by means of immunohistochemistry..Result â‘  The total effective rate of two groups had significant difference(The total effective rate of the test group was 93.3% and that of the controlled group was 86.7%).
