The Survey On Elderly Patients' Satisfaction Of Community Health Services

Objectives: In order to know the advantages and disadvantages of community health services, to determine the main factors of the satisfaction of community health services, and to provide basis for improving the quality of community health services, the survey on the status of elderly patients'satisfaction and influential factors in Shijiazhuang City was carried out. Furthermore, the results of the survey can reveal the measures of making the health services confirming to elderly residents'need under the background of continuously growing aging society.Methods: With multi-stage stratified random sampling method, 3 district samples were selected in Shijiazhuang City, then 3 community health services centers were selected from each district. With on-site self-administered methods, 1553 questionnaires were taken back. The effective rate is 97.06%. The data was inputted by Epidata 3.1 and analyzed by SPSS 13.0. The methods of statistical analysis included descriptive statistical analysis, Friedman test, Wilcoxon signed-rank test, Kruscal-Wallis H test, rank transformation, Kappa test, and Logistic regression. The satisfaction of 9 community health services centers was synthetically evaluated by RSA.Results: The overall satisfaction rate of community health services of elderly patients is 47.5%. The satisfaction rate of medical stuff's attitude is 47.1%. The satisfaction rate of medical stuff's skills is 38.1%. The satisfaction rate of the cost of community health services is 30.3%. The satisfaction rate of the medical environment is 33.9%. The score of satisfaction of the cost of community health services is the lowest among the other aspects of community health services. The satisfaction of elderly patients in Yuhua District and Changan District is better than Qiaoxi District. Overall satisfaction is more closely linked to satisfaction of medical stuff's attitude and medical stuff's skills. The satisfaction is influenced by the following factors in different degrees: gender, education level, distance, medical insurance, income, age, marital status. The following elderly patients, including the male, the persons with higher education level, longer distance, medical insurance, higher income, higher age, the widowed and the divorcee, have higher requirements for community health services, so they have lower satisfaction. RSR of the satisfaction of 9 community health services centers decreased as this order:①E,②I,③F,④H,⑤D,⑥G,⑦A,⑧C,⑨B.Conclusions: Compared with the similar regions all over the country, the satisfaction of community health services of elderly patients in Shijiazhuang City is intermediate. In order to improve satisfaction of community health services of elderly patients, community health services centers should consider characteristics of different elderly patients, and implement differentiated services. Meanwhile, community health services centers and health administrative departments should undertake various measures to improve the quality of community health services in all aspects.
