Study On Post Setting Of Specialty Nurses Of Pediatric General Surgery

Objective: To clear the post demand on specialty nurses of pediatric general surgery of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and clear their duties, tasks, qualifications, and post relationship, then form the job description of theirs. To provide systematic and scientific basis for post setting of specialty nurses of general surgery in Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, and to exploratory research on job analysis of domestic specialty nurses.Methods: Documentation analysis and work performance were used to analyze the post demand on specialty nurses of pediatric general surgery of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. And interview, fuzzy clustering analysis and Delphi technique were used to research the duties, tasks, qualifications, and post relationship of each specialty nurses.Results: (1) It was known that there were most urgent needs in enterostomal care, eflux-enema and newborn care in pediatric general surgery of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, by analyzing the position needs; (2) By researching the position of these three kinds of specialty nurses using some methods of job analysis, then the objective and standardized job descriptions of theirs were formed, which including post identify, duties, tasks, qualifications, and post relationship.Conclusions: The three job descriptions which were formed in this research are reliable and objective due to using scientific methods and systematic steps to analyze the position of specialty nurses of pediatric general surgery of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, in accordance with the purpose of setting post for needs, setting peple for post and people matching post. And these job descriptions could provide basis for making decision on specialty nurses'post setting of pediatric general surgery of Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University.
