Preliminary Research On The Index System Of Continuity Certification For Specialty Nurses Of ICU

Objective: The core of continuity certification for ICU specialist nurses is the effective evaluation for ICU specialist nurses having got ICU specialist nurses qualification certificate(or training certificate)after a certain time,in order to improve the specialist ability of he ICU specialist nurses.Therefore,it is indispensable to establish a continuation certification evaluation criteria for improving the core competence and comprehensive quality of ICU specialist nurses.it is more realistic to carry on the research of construction for ICU specialist nurses' continuing certification index system in Xinjiang,because of the language communication of the Xinjiang minority and the high cost.At present domestic has not been in the ICU specialty nurses qualification certification,also did not establish unified certification standards and the evaluation index system.The purpose of this study is to explore the institutions,forms of certification,interval and evaluation index system of continuity certification for ICU specialty nurses,and establish a unified and standardized index system,that can provide the theoretical reference for the continuation of ICU specialist nurses in Xinjiang.Methods: In this study,there were three rounds of questionnaires consults for 28 experts from different fields by the Delphi method and the Analytic hierarchy process(25 effective questionnaires),then according to experts' advice to screen and to determine the indicators of the index system of the continuity certification for ICU specialty nurses,as well as the weight and connotation.Tested the logical consistency.Results: The experts selected by this study have good geographical representation and extensive subject representation,and the effective recovery rate of three rounds of questionnaires reached more than 89%.The authority coefficient of the author for the indicators are above 0.75,indicating a higher authority,the evaluation of the indicators are based on the theoretical basis and practical experience.Three rounds of expert consultation coordinationcoefficient are0~1,and has a statistical significance after the test,indicating that the views of experts more concentrated,better coordination.The hierarchical single(total)ranking consistency test of the index system is determined by the analytic hierarchy process,which indicates that the weights of each index are scientific and objective.Conclusion: In this study,the ICU specialist nurses institutions was responsible by the Autonomous Nursing Association and the specialist nurses training center.The certification forms include continuing education credit certification,theoretical examination,clinical skill operation,literature review and theoretical study.The interval is three years.As well as six first-level indicators,22 secondary index,54 three-level index composed of ICU specialist nurses continued certification evaluation index system.Which can provide theoretical reference for continuation certification and evaluation of ICU specialist nurses.
