To Compared The Hemorrhoidectomy Combined Internal Ligation And Injection With Milligan-Morgan Hemorrhoidectomy In The Result Of Hemorrhoids

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of hemorrhoidectomy combined internal ligation and injection with Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy in the result of hemorrhoids. Methods: From September 2009 to march 2010,the clinical data of 118 Patients who underwent haemorrhoidectomy were retrospectively reviewed:70 patients with HLI(group HLI) and 48 Patients with Milligan-Morgan operations(group MM).parameters investigated were postoperative hospitalization time, postoperative complications, and the costs. Results: The average postoperative hospitalization time were 8.79±3.81 days and 11.52±3.74 days respectively, there were significant statistical differences between the two groups (P<0.05). There also had significant statistical differences in some postoperative complications rates, such as pain ,bleeding, uroschesis and edema of the incision(P<0.05), but except the rates of complaining bearing-down pain(P>0.05). The total related medical costs were 4471.1±1168.45 RMB in group HLI compared with 4412.37±1188.65 RMB in group MM,there were not statistical differences (P>0.05). Conclusion: The advantages of HLI for hemorrhoids include shortening the postoperative pain, time,reducing the postoperative bleeding, uroschesis and edema of the incision. It can cure hemorrhoids thoroughly and minimally invasive, and do a ideal remedy for hemorrhoids.
