| Objective:The effect of Qianjin huanglian pills on glucose and lipid metabolism,insulin sensitivity in streptozotocin diabetic rats were studied by the method of break the ricipe,in order to investigate the connotation of Qianjin huanglian pills.Methods:The present study was to evaluate the effect of Qianjin Huanglian pills on glycolmetabolism of type 2 diabetic rats induced by high-fat-diet for 3 weeks and low dose of streptozotocin(40mg/kg BW).Put the 62 rats into 6 groups,which was Dried Rehmannia root(DR)group,Rhizoma Coptidis(RC)group,QinaJin Huanglian Pill(QJ) group,Swimming Sport(SS)group,Normal(Nor)group and Condition (Con) group.The DR group was given DR for 28 days, So did the RC group and QJ group.28 days after the treatment we would go to observe the Fasting Blood Glucose(FBG),Triglyceride (TG),Total Cholesterol(TC),High density (HDL-C),Low density Lipoprotein-choleseterin (LDL-C),fasting blood insulin (FBI) between pretherapy and post-treatment.Meanwhile,at the 16th day, sugar tolerance experiment was done by Glucose solution gavaging.at the 21st day, glyconeogenesis experiment was done by peritoneal injection with L-alanine.Results:1,Pills can loss the weight of rats,Meanwhile the influence of swimming sports to the weight was later to appear.2,RC and QJ could reduce the FBG of rats,and the effection were better than DR and SS groups.3,All of DR,RC,QJ and SS could improve the TC,TG,HDL-C of rats,but the DR and SS reduced the TC of rats more significantly,DR and QJ improved the TG,HDL-C of rats more significantly,the best effection of improve LDL-C of rats was done by RC group,on the other hand,SS could not improve the LDL-C of rats (P>0.05).4,RC could improve the IGTT of rats and the effection was better than DR,QJ and SS groups.5,SS and DR could suppress the glyconeogenesis evidently,the inhibitory action to glyconeogenesis of RC and QJ groups was not as good as SS and DR groups.6,All of DR,RC and QJ could elevate the FBI level of rats obviously,the curative effect were better than SS group.SS and RC could improve the ISI of rats significantly,but the curative effect of RC and Con groups had no significant difference (P>0.05)Conclusions:1,QJ pills can improved the glucose and lipid metabolism of type 2 diabetic,reduce the body weight and increase the FBI and ISI, improve the insulin sensitivity;and RC was good at reduce the FBG,LDL-C,improved the IGTT and ISI. DR was good at reduce the TC,TG,HDL-C,improved the gluconeogenesis.2,Sports can improve the ISI of rat significantly, which showed the advantage of improving the IR by sports recipes3,The efficacy of QJ pills and its broken ricipes of Improving glucose and lipid metabolism and increasing the FBI was better than Sports. |
