[Objective]To observe the clinical effect and mechanism of Dingxuan paticles treating for vertebral basilar insufficiency wind phlegm type with vertigo.[Methods] In this study objective is inpatient with vertebrobasilar artery insufficiency wind phlegm type of verticgo patients,from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Taditional Chinese Medicine.Choose 51 cases from August 2008 to Janualry 2010 meet the standard.The 51 cases are randomly divided into dingxuan treatment group (28 cases) and control group(23 cases).The treatment groups are for Chinesemedicindingxuanparticles(include:tianmazhijiangcan,zhishuizhi,chenpi,fabanx ia,chuanxiong,gegen,huangqi,manjingzi,etal.Food and drug Administration approval of Jiangsu province,Chinese medincine hospital in nanjing preparations,Approval number:Su pharmacists word Z04001533),each package,3 times a day,14 days of treatment;The control group are for Nimodipine,30 mg,3 times a day,14 days of treatment.To observed in patients with the symptom score,transcranial Doppler of the target, blood rheology,coagulation indexes before and after treatment changes.[Results] Dingxuan particles can improve patients with vertebroal basilar insufficiency syndromes points, better than nimodiping on vertebral basilar insufficiency wind phlegm-based improvement in verticgo patients. Dingxuan particles can improve transcranial Doppler of the target, hemorheology, the coagulation indexes.[Conclusion] Dingxuan particles can treat vertebrobasilar insufficiency wind phlegm vertigo patients have better clinical efficacy than therapeutic effect of nimodiping group.
