| Vertigo due to vertebrobasilar insufficiency is commom in ischemia cerebral vascular disease.Because of its high rate of incidence and low rate of cure,if we don't give much attention to it,it can lead to acute cerebrovascular infart in the end.In this paper,we had reviewed and summarized the cognition and development of Chinese medicine and western medicine on this disease. The etiology,pathology,treatment principle and treatment method were discussed at the same time.Based on Chinese and modern medical theories about VBI,we probe into the pathogenic mechanism and demonstrate that the main pathogenesis which lead to vetigo with VBI is stagnition of phlegm and blood stasis and the main theraputic policy is to activate phlegm and banish stasis.DINGXUAN pellet developed according to pathogenic mechanism of VBI has this function.In this research, 108 patients with VBI were randomly divided into two groups.One group accepted the treatment of DINGXUAN pellet combined Nimodipine,the other accepted Nimodipine as control.The whole duration of treatment was 3 weeks.We tested some related parameters such as blood stream dynamics,blood rheology,enzymology,and so on.Clinical results showed that total effective rate of combination therapy group was 95.00% and that of Nimodipine group was 81.25%,it also suggested that the rate of recovery and apparently effect of treatment group was 71.67%,while the contrast group was 45.83%.There was a significant difference between the two groups.In addtion,we found that the related parameters including blood stream dynamics,blood rheology,enzymology,all had a delightful chage,yet the treatment group had a better amelioration than the contrast group,and it showed a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01 or P<0.05).The results indicated that the combination application with DINGXUAN pellet and Nimodipine is an effective method to this disease.It also puts porward ideas for continuous research on DINGXUAN pellet in the future. |
