The Research Or Current Status And Causes Of Medical Disputes In Part Of Hospitals In Urumqi

Objective:Mastering the status of medical disputes and patients'and medical staff's cognition of medical disputes situation in part of the representative hospitals in Urumqi in the last three years, this paper gave an analysis on the causes of medical disputes and found the factors leading to medical disputes and their occurrence,development results and mutual relations of various factors, revealing the laws of the formation of medical disputes. From the causes and formation of medical disputes, put forward the stage theory of medical disputes and describe the theory. Method:1,literature method. By the literature review of the last 5 years of CBM database with keywords of medical dispute, medical accident, medical malpractice, analyse the current status of medical dispute research. Investigate case history data of medical dispute and corresponding transaction docs of management department of 5 hospitals from January 2005 to December 2008.2,the questionnaire survey method. Analyse the cognition of medical dispute by local randomization in 5 hospitals.Results:The investigation found that the majority of the populations of medical disputes are liberal professions and workers,21-30-year-old and over 60-year-old patients are high risk of medical disputes, more than 70% of patients consider that the occurrence of medical disputes dosen't have inevitability, above 75.64% of patients are willing to deal with disputes in accordance with law, Most patients want to establish a harmonious relationship with hospitals and hope the hospitals can give an early intervention when dealing with medical disputes,87.98% of patients consider that the disputes should be suspended or weakened (p=0.018). But the patients have a low understanding on the relevant laws of medical dispute. There is a very obvious contrast between the patient' strong awareness of the law and their understanding level of the specific law. Medical stuff consider the initiativity of medical dispute lie in both sides (p=0.234), the occurrence of medical disputes in surgical departments was significantly higher than other clinical departments, and in the surgical system, orthopedics, general things, cardiac surgery, neurosurgery have the highest incidence of medical disputes. In the internal medical system, heart medicine, neurology, gastroenterology, hematology have a higher incidence of medical disputes, the reasons such as "complications", "poorly explained" are prominent. Strengthening the control of the induced causes is the key to deal with the disputes. Conclusion:21-30-year-old patients are high risk of medical disputes. Medical personnel have a low level understanding of relevant laws, especially the technician staff are the focus of the legal education and training. The youth have medical disputes almost because of the patients'rights, while the old most because of medical morality. The patients in the town have higher requirement of rights than that of in the countryside. There is correlation between section office and the leading reasons of medical disputes (p<0.001), it is the same with the age (p<0.001) and with the patients in town and countryside maitenning rights (p<0.001). The reasons that bring out medical disputes in surgical system are most leading ones; while in internal medical system are most induced reasons, we should give more control respectively.
