Objective:To verify the clinical therapeutic effectiveness of ShengJing Cuhua Tang on the treatment of nonliquefaction of semen and to provide the basis for clinical use. Methods:This study is a random, Parallel control clinical trial.60 cases were divided into 2 group randomly,30 in the trial group (ShengJing CuHua Tang,SJCHT)and the other 30 in the control group(Vitamin C group). All the cases were conducted with Physical test, endocrine detection, and semen analysis to exclude disorders from testicles or endocrine system.250 ml SJCHT soup per time and twice a day is for the trial group, with Vit C oral application 0.3g each time and three times a day for the control group. The whole course lasts for 4 weeks. After one course, the semen analysis were re-examined to observe Semen liquefaction time, sperm quality. Curative standard: it's signifcant effective if the semen entirely liquefied within 60min; it's effective if the semen partially liquefied within 60min; it's noneffective if the semen doesn't liquefied within 60min.Result:After one course's treatment, the liqufection time of the two semen samples were reduced. By statistical analysis, the treatment group compared with controls have statistical significance (X2=17.23,P<0.05),which indicate that the treatment group was better than control group in promoting semen liquefaction. The clinical symptoms of the two group were improved after one course's treatment, The total effective rate in treatment group is 75.00%, and the control group is 44.82%, the treatment group efficient compared with control have significant differences (p<0.01), which indicate that the treatment group was better than control group in improving the patients clinical symptoms. Conclusions:SJCHT can signifcantly reduce the liquefaction time of semen, improve the clinical symptoms, increase sperm activity rate and sperm motility, reduce Deformity sperm rate; increase the quantity of lecithin small body, reduce the quantity of WBC in prostatic fluid, but it can't improve sperm PH, sperm density and sperm quantity.it has no adverse reactions.
