The Clinical And Experimental Study On Treating Eczema Of Damp-Heat Type By The Compound BaiXianPi Decoction

Objective: To observe clinical efficacy for treating eczema of Damp-Heat Type by Compound BaiXianPi Decoction (CBD); explore the therapy mechanism of CBD in eczema of Damp-Heat Type. Method: 60 patients were separated at random into group with CBD and group with soft capsule of LongDanXieGan and KuShenPian. During 4 weeks'treatments, the changes of degree of prurit, erythema and papula were observed. In the animal experiment,â…£allergic reaction model was constructed. After devided into group at random, saline, soft capsule of LongDanXieGan and KuShenPian and CBD were given respectively. The ears weight difference of the mice in the three groups was observed.Histamine model was constructed. After devided into group at random, saline, soft capsule of LongDanXieGan and KuShenPian and CBD and Hydrocortisone were given respectively. The scope of itch in the four groups was observed.Result: Compared with group with soft capsule of LongDanXieGan and KuShenPian, cure and obvious effect rate is 93.33% with total effect rate of 100% and there are notable difference between two group(sP<0.05).The experiment shows that CBD can remarkably restrainâ…£allergic reaction.Conclusion: Treating eczema of Damp-Heat Type with CBD has reliable efficacy and low recurrence rate.
