Objective: Explore single door of cervical posterior surgery patients with myelopathic type cervical vertebra's curative effect and the related factors influencing surgical curative effect, offer reference for clinical work. Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,50patients,with cervical spondylotic myelopathy who underwent operative treatment between April 2007 and October 2009 in Affilated Hospital of Shan dong University of Triditional Chinese Medicine were included in this study. All patients underwent preoperative medical history, physical examination and routine cervical spine X-ray films and MRI examination. Through outpatient surgery, telephone, letters, etc. were followed up. Met the inclusion criteria of a total of 50 patients.According to Japanese Orthopedics Association 17 scores method for the cervical spondylotic myelopathy and the functional grading system of Nurick,The preoperative, the last follow-up neurological function of all patients was evaluated respectively.Statistical analytical methods(independent sampler T test,One - Way ANOVA,Logistic regression analysis)were performed to study the relation between factors and the surgical outcome of cervical spondylotic myelopathy.Result: The the last follow-up JOA score and Nurick score improved significantly, and the differences were significant (P<0.01).The mean JOA score before surgery was 9.73±3.66 points, and the mean preoperative Nurick score was 2.8±1.25.The mean postoperative JOA score was 14.5±2.38 points, and the mean postoperative Nurick score was 1.03±1.14.The JOA recovery rate among the total patients was classified as exellent in 15,good in 16,fair in 3,poor in 1. Preoperative spinal cord MRI signal changes (P<0.05) Preoperative functional score (P<0.05),Cervical curvature (P<0.05),are the factors impacting operative resul. Conclusion: Patients with myelopathic type cervical vertebra surgical treatment efficacy significant ; Preoperative spinal cord MRI signal changes,Preoperative functional score,Cervical curvature are Affecting the cervical spinal cord surgery factors. They could be used as good indicators of suigical outcomes.
