Objective:Observing the clinical effect and prognosis of flapless implant surgery.Method:Indication was selected. The width, altitude and thickness was measured with panoramic radiography at the intended site of implant. Insert the ITI implant flaplessly with delayed restoring. Judge the advantage of flapless surgery after the analyses of indication, surgery technique and regular examination after surgery.Result:Mean follow-up time of flapless surgery group is 11.4 months. No transluscent area was found around the implants during X-ray examination with a mean bone resorption of 0.15±0.3mm compared with 0.20±0.2mm of the control group without significance. The mean surgery time of flapless surgery group is 12.2min compared with 22.4min of the control group with significance. Conclusion:The flapless surgery deserves to be operated when suitable indication and strict surgical routines is followed. This surgery cost less time with good short-term effect within one year. The long-term effect needs to be explored more.
