The Influence Of Note Blood Meridian Therapy To The Quality Of Children With Asthma

ObjectivesBy observing the changes of indexes such as asthma symptom scores, non-asthma symptom date, pediatric asthma quality of life questionnaire (PAQLQ), etc, on the asthma children after the meridian autohemotherapy, the influence of this therapy on the PAQLQ of the children was explored, which provided the clinical application basis for the treatment of asthma and the improvement of PAQLQ of the children.MethodsWith the prospective randomized control research method,60 children with bronchial asthma who were accordance with the inclusive criteria were enrolled. With the PROC PLAN process of SAS software, they were randomized into treatment group (with basic western medicine plus autohemotherapy) and control group (with basic western medicine therapy), with 30 cases in each group. The data of the changes of the indexes such as asthma symptom scores, non-asthma symptom date, questionnaires of PAQLQ of pediatric asthma, etc, before and after treatments were recorded. In the treatment group, all the cases were taken with autohemotherapy for three therapeutic sessions,15 times in total; meanwhile, the basic western medicine was applied,50 days in total. In the control group, the simple basic western medicine was applied,50 days in total. The clinical indexes were recorded before and after treatments and three months after treatments respectively.ResultsThere was no significant difference of the indexes in the two groups before the treatments. After the treatments, there was obvious improvement of the daytime symptom scores, non-asthma symptom date in the previous 2 weeks and PAQLQ in both the two groups (P<0.05), with significant difference between the two groups, with the improvement in the treatment group better than that in the control group. There was no statistical difference of the night symptom scores before and after the treatments in the control group (P>0.05), but statistical difference in the treatment group before and after treatments (P<0.05). With the comparison of the two groups after treatments, there was no significant difference (P>0.05). After 3 months, there was remarkable improvement of the daytime symptom scores, non-asthma symptom date in the previous 2 weeks and PAQLQ in both the two groups (P<0.05), with significant difference, with the improvement in the treatment group more obvious than that in the control group (P<0.05), with significant difference.ConclusionThe present study indicated that the meridian autohemotherapy plus routine western medicine could better improve the asthma symptom of the children, especially in the improvement of the quality of life of the kids, which was better than the simple western medicine and helps the growth and development of the asthma children.
