Study On The Developmental Status Of Major Governmental Hospital In Hunan Province

Public hospital is normal system arrangement to support and improve citizen's health. When new china was founded, our country have already been established the System of Public Hospital.Up to now, public hospital resources,including government organizations, personnel, beds, equipment, rate of outpatient visits ,and so on, which are play an important role in the whole of health resources. It is in the decisive position to ensure the basic medical and public health service for citizens.in the 80s of 20th century, to deal with the problems of the lack of the health resources which goes with planned economy , public hospitals, especially major public hospitals, all improve the conditions of medicals Services ,and increase input for the hospital basic development and large High Technology . Improving medical facilities and equipment facilities,which helps to relieve the problems of both urban and rural residents. At the same time , because of the constriction and promotion of the factors, public hospitals is far away from Public-benefit ,which bring the"Chinese disease"(The difficulty and high cost of getting medical service side by side).Hunan province is the under-developed region which in the central part of China . Through a lot of analysis and integration to the relative numbers of major public hospitals(third-er general public hospitals) in Hunan province during 2005-2009, it is find that there are many reasons affect the development of these hospitals ,such as excessive size outspread, the defect of finance compensation for public hospitals and deeply in debt.Experience has shown that the development of public hospitals has a close relation with the development of our economic society, especially the economic development mode. We should specify the implications, character, functional localization of public hospitals, and insist on public good as the core, expanding The government's input, increasing the quality and efficiency , Straightening out the compensation for public hospitals.And the prices of Medical Care Service should be improved and medical charges practice standardized. Changing the development mode of major public hospitals is the road of sustainable development for major public hospitals.
