The Pharmacodynamics Research On The Douzhi Tablets Treatment For Menopausal Model Rats

Menopause is one of the most important stages in women's life,which occupies approximately 30% of their lifetime. On account of thestop of the ovary function, estrogens metabolism is abnormal, causingseries of estrogen-related diseases. Therefore, it's of great value to seekan alternative agent, which has beneficial effects as well as low cancerrisks and fewer side effects. At present although there are varioustreatments for climacteric syndrome, HRT is mainly recommended bothat home and abroad, the side effects of which shouldn't be ignored.According to sufficient research, the long-term application of HRT maycause damages to the target organs,which will lead to a series of grievousproblems. As a concequence, the continual application of the HRT isrestricted. The traditional chinese medicine decoction and treatments arecomplicated in prescription, and various in kinds. What's more it's hardto get an accurate criterion in the control of quality. We have made idealprogress in the clinical practice of the treatment for climactericsyndrome,using fermented soya beans and cape Jasmine Fruit .Whilethere is no systematic document proving its exact curative effects, andtherefore further research is needed. We undertake the research hoping toobtain more information about the curative effect of this compoundthrough scientific and systematic pharmacodynamics, and to providescientific basis for the exploit and clinical application in wide scope so asto offer a new method of the treatment for climacteric syndrome.According to physiological characters of postmenopausal women,we selected model rats imitating the pathological changes ofpostmenopausal women , to observe the effects of douzhi tablets on diversity dos , semen on the E₂,FSH,LH,amotic-cell of vagina,ovariestissue, epithelium tissue of cervix uteri,endometria,so as to research thepharmacodynamic action of douzhi tablets on therapeutic in menopausalsyndrome. During the study ,we selected female wistar rats and dividedthem into 6 groups:vacant controlled group,negative group,positivecontrolled group, and high, medium, low-dose douzhi tablets. Positivecontrolled group is estrogen-treated group. All rats were given medicineorally using a stomach tube for 8 weeks. This study concludes 6 parts asfollowing: 1 To observe their effects on body weight of model ratsï¼›2 Toobserve their effects on E₂,FSH,LH of model ratsï¼›3 To observe theireffects on amotic cell of vagina of model ratï¼›4 To observe their effectson ovaries tissue of model ratsï¼›5 To observe their effects on epitheliumtissue of cervix uteri of model ratsï¼›6 To observe their effects on hysteraof model rats.The results of the study show that: 1 douzhi tablets can inhibit theincreasing of body weight of model rats obviouslyï¼›2 douzhi tablets canincrease E₂, and step down FSH and LH of model rats obviouslyï¼›3douzhi tablets can improve the state of amotic cell of vagina of modelrats obviouslyï¼›4 douzhi tablets can improve the state of ovaries tissue ofmodel rats obviouslyï¼›5 douzhi tablets and estrogen can improve the stateof epithelium tissue of cervix uteri of model rats obviouslyï¼›6 douzhitablets and estrogen can improve the state of the hystera of model ratsobviously .In conclusion, Douzhi tablets help to decrease the level of FSH and LHin the blood-serum of the menopausal model rats,and increase the levelof E₂, so as to balance the hormonal level efficiently; Douzhi tablets helpto decrease the quantity of the menopausal model rats, amotic-cell ofvagina, improve the cell-morph,and improve the ovary,cervix,endometrium in morphology. Besides, they can help the relative functionsof organs to work properly. What's more, compared with E₂,they have no obvious damages on them,from which we can see Douzhi tablets havelittle side effects. As a result, we conclude that Douzhi tablets play animportant role in the treatment for menopausal model rats,and issuperior to the HRT.
